Purchase Our Beef

You can purchase our beef by appointment from our Meat Shop in Douglassville. 

Quality beef starts with quality genetics and nothing eats better than Black Angus. That's why we breed only with registered black angus bulls. We further refine our animals by selecting only those with excellent marbling characteristics (tenderness) and muscling.

Further our beef is dry aged for at least two weeks before we cut it up for you to further ensure a tender, delicious product. Most people are very interested in the fact our beef is grown without the use of any added hormones and are fed no antibiotics. The animals only leave our farm once in their lives and that's for the trip to be harvested, USDA inspected, and then returned to us in quarters via refrigerated truck.

We only sell halves and not quarters so we do not get a disproportion of front quarters and hindquarters. The halves usually average 300-375 pounds. Many people pick a friend and buy the half together, and then split the meat on a one-for-one basis, if they feel they wouldn't be able to use a whole half themselves. We can supply the paper at the above mentioned price (we weigh the roll of paper before you use it and then when your done and the rest of the supplies - tape and markers - are included in the price of the paper) or you may bring your own. Many people like to use Ziploc bags for at least the hamburger and many times everything they can fit in them. Some people have tried vacuum sealers, but we suggest you plan an alternative in case they don't work right, and keep in mind they usually need to rest for "x" amount of time in between packages or they don't operate properly.

• We can determine the next available slaughter date for the size of animal you require.
• Then we will schedule an appointment for you to visit our Meat Shop where we will cut the half or whole to your specifications. There you can weigh and wrap the beef anyway you like.
